I like this ad. When will Sri Lanka catch up?

Looks like there is a mobile film contest in town. Nice idea but I have a few gripes.
- Its a closed contest. In the age of YouTube, open sharing and voting. This seems a bit backward.
- To do decent video you need a pretty good and recent phone, which already would have 3G, so what’s the point of giving winners another 3G phone?
